You know the impact camp has on young people. It changes their lives. If you can help send a kid to camp, please do.
Effectively all your support goes directly to camp family tuitions. By giving to the Fund, you’re providing children with an invaluable experience.
At the North Country Camps, young people explore the outdoors, master new skills and develop self-sufficiency. In a safe environment, they hike, paddle, swim, ride and run together. They build the confidence that comes with independence and the responsibility that comes with community.
Campers race each other on the field and the lake, and then embrace and congratulate each other. They learn to stand on their own and to lean on each other. They develop wonderful friends, and many of their friendships will last a lifetime.
The Gucker Campership Fund appreciates all contributions. Donations may be made online or you can send a check to:

Create a legacy with planned giving
Planned giving is a powerful way to ensure that your values and commitment to children experiencing the North County Camps will continue to make a difference for generations to come. It provides the resources we need to continue our vital work and expand our outreach.
Some popular planned giving options include:
Bequests: Designate the Gucker Fund as a beneficiary in your will or living trust, which allows you to allocate a specific amount or percentage of your estate to support our mission.
Retirement Plans: Designate the Gucker Fund as a beneficiary of your IRA, 401(k), or other retirement plan, potentially providing tax benefits to your estate.
Life Insurance Policies: Name the Gucker Fund as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy, turning a modest investment into a significant gift.
By including the Gucker Fund in your estate plans, you’re making a lasting commitment to future generations. If you would like to learn more about planned giving or want help getting started, please feel free to reach out to Amy Carlstrom at carlstromamy@gmail.com.
